AWH Apache's Geronimo has got what it takes ON BOTH SIDES OF HIS PEDIGREE!!

His sire is none other than the remarkable fawn, full Accoyo male, NGG Accoyo Apache II. Apache has luster, density, fineness, and lock to contribute to his offspring. He has produced numerous champions, both for Greg Mecklam of Pacific Crest Alpacas, and now for Windy Hill. Apache is the son of the first colored full Accoyo suri to enter the U.S., Pperuvian Uribe (or Durazno, as he is sometimes called).

Geronimo's dam is DPA Glenda, originally owned by Double Play Alpacas who owned her mother, Gloria, and bred her to a white male they purchased from Nola Graham named Pperuvian Torbio....(where have I heard that name before??). Glenda, then, is a 1/2 Accoyo Torbio daughter, making this boy a cross of two of the most amazing bloodlines in the country: Apache and Torbio.

Typical of both Apache and Torbio, this young male has a strong, straight frame, and is growing really quickly for his age. His jaw alignment is correct, his topline is square, and then there's the fleece-- huge amounts of slick, greasy, lustrous, fine fleece, organized in beautifully organized locks, even after shearing. The 2nd fleece of a suri tells the tale of what he is worth, and OH! what a tale this tells! Geronimo is just short of a year old, and was too young to take to the spring shows. He is poised to be in a wonderful position for next spring. His daddy's kids usually grow 6-8 inches in a year, so he'll have plenty of fleece to wow the judges in the previously shorn, processible length classes. We consider these classes to be of great importance because they will show what the true processing value of a suri's fleece will be--not something you can tell from a 2-year 15" fleece.

Don't wait. This boy isn't going to last long! Buy him now and show him under YOUR banner!

We can negotiate financing for your herd purchase.
