AWH Sequoia is the color of the Sequoia Gigantea, and has the luster of a slab of highly polished redwood. She is a very flashy member of the herd who stands out in a crowd. She has solid, square conformation that gives her an advantage in breeding, carrying her babies to term, and delivering with ease. She also has plenty of milk, which means her crias grow strong and fast. This year's boy is a real bruiser! (He's also gorgeous, which is why he's going on our show string)

Sequoia's sire is GLR Chipotle, our beautiful brown Synergy son. He is now for sale, by the way--be sure to check him out while you're at it--because we have several of his daughters in our foundation herd. Chip's density and fineness are traits that Sequoia definitely inherited and passed to her little guy.

Sequoia's dam is one of my all-time favorite girls--MFI Jalila. Jalila is responsible for Sequoia's redwood color and high luster. It's an almost magical color, and hard to find. Many breeders call it "maroon" because it flashes almost-purple in the afternoon sun.

Sequoia is bred to AWH MacGyver's Vortex. This is a line breeding on MacGyver--a line well-established as dependable. Our hope is that it will result in a significant genetic jump forward in the cria.

Sequoia comes with our "You Gotta Love'Er" Guarantee, as well as a live birth guarantee. She is a brilliant female who will be a solid foundation for your herd, as her mother was for ours. Don't miss out.

We can negotiate financing for your herd purchase.
