AWH Apache's Oye Como Va is a lovely example of Accoyo traits. She has high luster, consistent lock, good density, and silky fineness. She has a very typical Apache frame, having matured early into a large-framed, sturdy beauty--the last cria Apache blessed us with. She carries herself with grace and just a bit of youthful playfulness.

Oye Como Va's head is a bit of a refinement on Apache's classic Accoyo head, coming from her mother, Tassel. Accoyo America Tassel, one of our original foundation dams, had extreme luster which she passed to her daughter. Tassel's crias always ranked high on the scale of show-worthy crias, and this girl is no exception. Unfortunately, we weren't able to do much showing the year she was ready, so she didn't get her chance, but this cria should be a real beauty for your show string.

The added bonus with the beautiful girl is the fact that she is carefully line-bred on Apache, so we expect that her offspring, according to Dr. Brett Kayson of Colorado State University, should pack a real genetic punch, pushing the outcome to a higher degree of improvement than a standard outcross. The prospect is very exciting!

If you are looking for a girl to jumpstart your herd with heavy-duty Accoyo genetics, it will be hard to pass up this opportunity. She is available with a free breeding to any of our herdsires.

We can negotiate financing for your herd purchase.
